- Raw AI-Generated Images: Images generated entirely by AI tools (such as Midjourney, DALL-E, etc.) without significant human editing are generally not eligible for copyright protection. I make no copyright claim over raw AI-generated images on this blog. They are released into the public domain (CC0) or are subject to the Terms of Service of the respective AI platform.
- Heavily Edited Media: If I have significantly edited, composited, or altered an AI-generated image or third-party asset, the CC BY 4.0 license applies only to the specific human-authored edits and additions, not the underlying source material.
- Third-Party Material: Quoted or embedded material that belongs to third parties (text excerpts, photographs, diagrams, code snippets). Those remain under their original licenses.
Where third-party or AI-generated material is used, the source or generation tool is noted in the post or image alt-text where applicable.
