This blog and my social media accounts are a personal, evolving record of my thinking. A few things to keep in mind as you read:

1. Opinions are timestamped, not permanent. Every post I write reflects what I believed, understood, or felt at the time I wrote it. I do not go back and quietly revise old posts to match my current views. If I wrote something in April 2025, that is what I thought in April 2025. It is not necessarily what I think today, and I make no promise that it will be what I think next year.

2. My views change, and that is intentional. Reading, conversations, new evidence, and lived experience shift how I see things. A position I argued for in one post may be softened, complicated, or outright reversed in a later one. That is not inconsistency; it is updating. Treat each post as a snapshot, not a manifesto.

3. This applies especially to opinion-driven and interpretive posts. Posts on topics like social media's effect on adolescents, AI in education, or the merits of a particular book are my read of the subject—filtered through whatever I had encountered up to that point. They are not neutral reporting, institutional positions, or settled conclusions. They are one person's take, on one day.

4. Book notes and reviews are personal, not authoritative. When I write about a book, I am recording my reaction, my takeaways, and my reading of the author's argument. I am not summarising an objective truth about the text. Someone else may read the same book and walk away with a completely different—and equally valid—interpretation.

5. Technical and educational posts reflect a moving target. Posts on AI tooling, semantic caching, tutoring systems, and related technical subjects were written against a specific landscape of tools, papers, and capabilities. That landscape shifts fast. Specific claims about what a model can do, what a technique achieves, or what the state of the art looks like may be outdated by the time you read them. Check the date.

6. Nothing here is professional advice. Nothing on this blog or my socials constitutes medical, legal, financial, educational-policy, or any other form of professional advice. If you are making a decision that affects your health, finances, career, or well-being, consult a qualified professional. Do not act on a post.

7. External links are not endorsements. When I link to a video, essay, podcast, or article, it means I found it interesting, thought-provoking, or well-made. It does not mean I agree with everything the creator says, nor that I recommend their broader body of work. I am pointing at a thing, not cosigning a worldview.

8. If something here bothers you or you disagree: Good. That is the point of writing publicly. I am not asking you to agree. I am not claiming authority. I am sharing how I was thinking at a particular moment, and I am fine being wrong, outgrown, or argued with.

If you want to know what I think about something right now, the safest move is to ask me directly rather than extrapolate from an older post.
